Appointment Policy: 

Veterinary specialty care is most often facilitated by referral from a primary care veterinarian. Referring veterinarians may set up a referral to TXVO by calling (817) 263-0500, by fax at (817) 263-0501, or by e-mail at referrals@texasvo.com. Our new patient and referral information forms are located at the above "Forms" tab.  

While referral from a primary care veterinarian is recommended, it is not required for your pet to be seen. All appointments must be scheduled and walk-in service is not available. A client initiated appointment may be scheduled by calling (817) 263-0500. If you do not have a referral, please complete and return the New Patient Information Form via fax or e-mail at least 48hrs before your appointment time.

We understand that circumstances arise where scheduled appointments cannot be attended. In order to best utilize our time and serve our customers we require notice of cancellation or rescheduling at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment time. No-shows or cancellations within that 48 hour window will be charged a cancellation fee, and pre-payment for new patient exams or surgical deposits are non-refundable within the same window.    

Payment Policy:

New patient exams require pre-payment to be scheduled, and a deposit is required to schedule surgery. Payment in full is required at time of any additional services rendered.
